lol !! they always think of the funny way of kanji's shape for easy learning and remembering !! my JPese teacher does it all the time !! it's really helped cuz Kanji is too hard to write, read or remember !! Ruu...

Makes me want to try learning japanese again

It's not as hard as most make it out to be.

When I can do it, everybody else can do it as well lol

I guess what makes it hard for me is I dont get to use it, no one to talk to in japanese for practice. but thinking about it, i guess it would be nice to make a learning japanese themed website for myself, so thanks for the idea

I don't have anybody around to talk Japanese to, either...

But reading manga, watching anime and translating keeps me fit.

If you can't make use of a language, why bother learning it in the first place...? Thankfully, Japanese is quite useful to us people, so...

I see someone with the same perspective about learning Japanese. :D

I guess people think it's hard because Japanese doesn't use the Roman alphabet.

Kanji are not to be trifled with, I give them that (I have to look up Kanji a lot when translating...), but as for Hiragana and Katakana, it's pretty easy actually... the rest is like learning any other language. Vocabs, grammar, etc...
