Let's discuss underused characters

I'm sure you all have your favorite series, and I'm sure most of them have plenty of H.

But aren't you disappointed when there's massive amounts of H but none of it is about a character or pairing you like?

I know I am.

Let's take a moment to talk about what we find lacking, and maybe think about why certain things are more plentiful than others and maybe even if there's anything we can do about it. I'm no artist, not YET anyway, but who knows, eh?

I'm sure you've all noticed a veritable ton of Code Geass doujins by now. But can you believe just how much of it is about Karen and C.C. (and Villetta)? Why is there a lack of Shirley? Heck even Milly has more appearances than Shirley.

Is there something wrong with Shirley's character that makes it less appealing than the others? I found her to be probably one of the better characters on the show in general, and her character design looks a lot better than the others in my opinion.


Here's another one. Pokemon. Everybody plays it, some people watch it (although I can't imagine WHY when the anime sucks so hard), and the manga is surprisingly good. Pardon me for using manga names, by the way, but why is everything about Berlitz, Sapphire, Blue, and Misty? There's plenty of other characters who are cute. Like Cheryl, Crystal, Marlee, Flannery... Green (yeah, he's cute)........Giovanni... <_<;

I'd say Yellow, but I think that would count as CP, even if she's probably a little older than she looks. And we don't need no CP.

I agree! There needs to be more Shirley. She is basically designed to be the sexually promiscuous character in the anime and yet there are so few doujinshi featuring her. However there may be more in Japan and they just haven't been scanned.

As far as things I would like to see... perhaps some GTO doujinshi?

I'd say Tira Misu is underused in doujin...but then again, I've only seen two Sorcerer Hunters ones. They mostly seem to focus on the characters of Daughter and Chocolate. Those characters are good, especially Chocolate, but I'd like to see them paired up together or one of them paired up with Tira.

this is a great point, maybe it is just me but my question is why is it that in the naruto doujinshi its usually only sakura or garras sister, what happened to poor hinata? i suck at spelling so please forgive meh.

I have not seen any beat angle dokuro-chan in any doujin. Some character in bleach like Aizen and other male character have not appear.

The one I'm looking for is some Aina Sahalin, Four Murasame, or maybe some Lady Une from the Gundam series.. Enough for the SEED's.. well its not that Lunamaria is bad.. but I really wanna see other Gundam series characters~~ :cry:

Another Doujinshi that they lack a nice selection of honeys is DBZ! its always about android 18. What about all the other girls? Anyone with me on this? :?

What I don't find enough of is Rurouni Kenshin. Those doujins seem very hard to come by. I've only viewed 3-4 of those, none on my hard drive except for one.

There are lots out there, sadly 90% are yaoi....I'll personally like to see more doujinshi of none main/super popular chars from anime. Like, Kotomi, Ryou, or Sanae from Clannad and Akira or Sara and even some Karen + Lala yuri from school rumble.
