I'm hoping to land the new job I had an interview for today, luckily it went good and I'll be called in for another interview. Looking forward to nailing that one too.
Make some cash. With money I might finally be able to get some stability.

Besides not being able to see the girlfriend as often as I'd like and not having a job, things are all right.

Hm, on a scale of 1 to 10... 6.5?
I suppose I'm looking forward to 2014. I live in my new apartment, but I'm expecting a cost of living raise for minimum wage, which will help, since my rent will always stay at exactly $500/month.
I would be happier if I found a girlfriend that actually wanted to have sex in the first week, but wasn't also a complete slut. But I guess I'm not that lucky.

$500/month.So bloody cheap. I'm sharing and I have to pay $1000/month, and that doesn't include utilities.

I live in a 3-bedroom apartment, and I pay $1000, because there are 3 rooms with 4 of us (one of them is a couple).

well, even if they're a couple, they're still 2 people. shouldn't you all be paying about 750?

Utilities, yes, we divide it into 4. But it's a room, they sleep in a same room. It'd be different if they sleep in a different one.

Lucky me for finding such a rare apartment complex. 1-bedroom apartments, 500/month. Although, some crazy assholes do live here. one already flipped out and tried to stab me. stupid crackhead. all i ever said was "Hi my name's James. Nice to meet you." and shook his hand.

EDIT: Well, that's fucked up. Look at the bright side, 500 a month is a fucking good deal.

Yeah, family is important. Before this I was living with my brother, in his apartment, helping him get back on his financial feet until he was able to cover himself, and then I moved the first chance I got, since my brother is kind of a dick... to everyone.
And also, you're right - it's the cheapest apartment I've been able to get, and I don't have to deal with roommates either, which is the best part.

Sounds like you're even living in Australia or NZ.
cos shits fucking expensive.
Myself:
8/10, life is pretty good. In the middle of my degree and averaged a B+ this year which is okay; could've easily been an A-/A if i wasn't so lazy and was more productive academically.
Looking forward to taking an OE and would like to expand my social circle a bit and meet some more people and maybe get another gf.
