List of applicants to run the waifu game.

This has to be one of the five most entertaining chat threads I read. Excluding the two waifu game threads.

I can actually agree with this and feel the same minus the take a waifu away from everyone. There is no point in punishing the whole for the ignorance of the few.

Im also not fond of the whole lottery thing so I would probably do a bit of changing on that one aside from that the game for the most part runs itself. the person that runs the game pretty much starts the game and slaps hands when something goes awry.

Part of the issue is the game is stagnating, so whoever I pick should be someone looking to change the current system, add things or tweak things to increase it's popularity. Otherwise there wont be anything to separate it from the other forum games.

I get that, but it's not like the other games are doing nearly as well as this one. Why change a lot about it? Sure minor things to add spice but a significant overhaul will only backfire (in my opinion).

Because there are fewer and fewer people joining each time it's run, even with the relaxed joining rules. You talk about increasing the post count minimum but to me that sounds like another nail in the coffin. I'm not interested in maintaining the game's popularity, I want to save it.

Everybody will fight over who should get to make the clams list for the godly amount of reputations it pays.

So maybe lower the date joined but keep it the same for post count.

I personally think Long would be pretty good at hosting the Waifu game because of his lack of time spent in CTFG as well knowing that he can be pretty clear about rules and not being lenient with a certain group of people. That's just my opinion though.

I think TMS should get it, he seems like a straight forward kind of guy. A Rhaegar of sorts. Kind, but a fantastic ruler. Knocked up a Stark. You know, a regular G. I see that he is on the list, I think everyone should take note of that. He's such a good person, I really wish I could join skype to talk with him. He's really actually very nice, and smarter than anyone I've ever met. I hear he's working on his 3rd PhD.

Rhaegar gets my vote.

Rise and Long get my vote. The former, as stated by Freaky, can organize shit well, while Long... well, he's fun and entertaining, but can maintain his shit too. He'd be like an actually funny game show host.

I have this feeling that the next waifu game will have less participant than before, depending on the one chosen to take charge.

I have my doubts about Long, but if something funny happens and i can get a laugh out of it, then i dont care.

I would like to see Rise or Long as the master, hell as long as it isn't filled with smileys and some other bullshit pansy stuff, I don't give a fuck.

Rise did the writing contest pretty darn good, Long handled the cooking contests nicely(all of the food shown was fucking awesome).
