Well, you don't exactly know if Charles Manson had a bad smell either ;p
However, I think when they say a mysterious aura - it means there's something that leaves them curious about. I remember being interested in a guy because he had an interesting background story, and I wanted to know more about him. It left me wondering and made me curious.

We didn't have schooluniforms ( in my schooltime), maybe that's the reason for we got so many sluts in our school, wearing short skirts an shirts showing the stomach....*remembering*
