My question out of curiosity is; why does this matter in the slightest? Dude has some debt, cool, so do we all. Why does this make people not want to vote for him? I don't get the buzz here

If that were true, he'd be homeless.

Yeah I see what you're saying. Our education system has gone to shit in compared to the old days. As a result, you have foreigners taking over the complex, high paying jobs. Meanwhile, the millennials sit at home playing video games, jobless and in debt. The government is turning into a babysitter for people who settle for mediocrity. This problem runs deeper than just a bad education system. This problem is rooted down to GMO foods that alter our brains and bodies in negative ways (most of the stuff they put in foods are banned in many other civilized countries), and the pharmacy companies that think everything can be solved by popping pills. This has created an epidemic of brainless drones who toss good ideas aside for racist, corrupt, narcissistic, idiotic people to run the country (and that's putting it mildly). Mark my words, if the current trend doesn't change its course soon, America will become the next Rome.

His businesses went bankrupt more than four times. How the fuck is that successful?
@drifter995 It's meant to break this image he has created for himself that he's "a winner." Not to mention his debt is in the hundreds of millions of dollars, meaning that his debt may be greater than the amount of money he actually has.

Ivanka Trump said in a documentary that her father once pointed to a homeless man and said he had “$8 billion more than me” due to Trump’s debt. Plus daddy's trust helps. Only thing he does is sell land where land is profitable... new york. Elsewhere it failed or own by other's just paying for Trump's name. Golf courses in dubai, scotland, bilking old people money for a condo and saying meh fuck it and never building and never paying back your customers.
Businesses fail but never like trump. plus it hard to be homeless when you own the building you live in and you have tenants in that same building. I own this crap shack with 40 acres... i just have to pay the property taxes once a month. 2500$ and i can stay without lights or cash if i needed to. Im sure with nyc tax and basic upkeep he can manage without a income. What's rent in midtown now. 10 grand a month? Store leases 20grand maybe.

As always, you fail to understand how business works.
Trump has only four businesses out of hundreds that have failed. He did not file for personal bankruptcy, just for the company.
There's a huge difference between the two.
When you file for bankruptcy for the company it clears any debt.
The only people who seem to not understand that it's a strategic business move are angry liberals.
A business entrepreneur has to take on risks in order to become wealthy.
For a guy who keeps talking about how smart he is, you should be able to understand that.

Funny how you address what I say and not what Freaky says.Shhh... hilldog is the same level of meh trump is. It's just ww3 won't start over a tweet. She just your typical 'whatever you want i believe also' type of politician. Unflavored icemilk prez. Only thing is if trump is elected at least pence will be running both domestic and foreign issues while trump takes in the glory of being top dick.
Plus four bankruptcies, but many many fail businesses. Just because you didn't ask for debt protection for corp restructuring doesn't mean you didn't failed in other enterprises. From Steaks to travel to vodka to mortgages. At least 20+ with his name on it.

Should we just call it a night and remember the American race failed this time?

Sanders had no backbone and didn't run as an Independent when those emails were leaked. That being said, even if I were a registered Democrat, I wouldn't vote him.

He got Hillary to move to the left on elements of the platform, something that wouldn't have happened if he ran as an independent. He sucked up his pride in order to further progressive ideals. Running as an independent would have given Trump the presidency and lead to four years of governance by a man that goes against what Sanders stands for.

"He got her to move on her platforms"? On what exactly? At best she only made her normal points echo some of his rhetoric but they're both somewhat similar enough as it is. Bernie was just more "anti-establishment", something Hilary was and will never be.
"Trump would've won".
1. That isn't a guarantee.
2. They're not exactly different on all fronts. Just because Trump says that ruffles people's feathers more, they're both populist straight out of the 1930's and they both equally disgust me.

So it doesn't matter and have any meaning whatsoever? Just a buzz article to give people some 'ammo' against trump in their arguments like they didn't already use the terrible bankrupt arguments beforehand. Usual it is then

1. Nothing in life is a guarantee. What we know for sure though is that running as an independent would mean Bernie taking voters away from Clinton moreso than Trump.
2. They are on opposite sides of the political spectrum. Sure they may both be populists, but they are not entirely equal when it comes to which crowd they are catering to. I'd say the only similarity between the crowds is their hatred of the establishment.

1. The "anybody but Trump" campaign is going to blow up in everyone's face just like it did in the primaries. He should've risked it if he was indeed anti-establishment and a real "democratic socialist". But he's not, and now he's vacationing it up in his new summer home.
2. They're not on political ends of the spectrum. If anything Trump is more waaaay more left leaning than any Republican. In the end it doesn't matter which one is technically more left leaning, it's about further expansion of government, which no one ever seems to hammer either of them for.

I never said anything about him using campaign money. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, I genuinely don't know and never claimed to know.
I just said he's vacationing it up in his new summer home. Such a man of the people ;^)
Also since you like talking about rep, have another.
