I prefer Shana and Taiga over her, and no I'm not really interested on watching Zero no Tsukaima myself~
That aside, Shakugan no Shana and Toradora are among my favorite animes out there~

The Zero no Tsukaima novels are much better than the anime and the same goes for Toradora!, they made Ryuuji much less perceptive of romantic feelings in the anime.
Zero no Tsukaima antedates Toradora! by two years, both the novels and the animated adaptation.
