Magic: The Gathering

Out of randomness I was offered a large amount of Magic: The Gathering playing cards, I don't really know how to play nor have I ever really gotten into it. but I accepted anyways, because I might down the road, or they might become worth money 10 years or so down the road. so for an old Ipod 8gb, and ten bucks, I got 2471 magic cards.

Never played it. Also your grammar has vastly improved since the last time you were here. Kudos.

Spades, UNO, and blackjack are the only card games I play so I don't know what you're talking about.

How recent are they?

from what i am told, it got cards from every branch, there are square ones, and real big ones too, some are white cards, not like the normal kind.

Unless they're first edition, I don't think a great many of them are worth much. Even rares and foils only nab you a few bucks.

I sold mine a while back and only two cards were worth anything. Both around 30 dollars.

Let me tell you one thing. If you have a card called "Black Lotus" you have hundreds of dollars.

I think I have seen that card before, so I very well might have it.

PS - There's a thread on the Figures, Mechas, and Toys section on these forums dedicated to MtG. Drop by some time if you have the willing to learn to play. Great game. Spent over $2000 on cards from the past 2 years. It gets expensive, but I still enjoy it as one of my favorite hobbies, specially around friends. I also play competitive, and been to Prauge, Czech Republic, just to play in a tournament. Greatest time ever.
