Then you should live closer to me or something.. I found two friends who are the same way, so I insisted we'd do something. If you were here, I'd include you.. I dunno how to celebrate online very well. An e-card? lol

Hey guys do you know anyway to treat a burn thats in your mouth? I burnt the inside of my mouth last night and on the roof of my mouth I have two blisters that just poped. Hurts bad and everytime I eat it hurts.
Anything I can do?..

I must admit I don't know much about if it pops.. but I can figure a educated guess based on simular things.
Normally you want something cool in there, like a popsicle. But you want to avoid harsh flavors or anything with a really defined edge. With it popped, you'll want to keep it as sterile and clean as possible, so I'm betting a very low concentration of salt water for a mouth wash rinse.
Every few hours ya know, swish some of that low sodium water just to keep it clean and disinfect it a little. Now, just because you want to clense it doesn't mean you should use like hot sauce or something. You want to avoid further injury. Things like an aloe vera drink, or honey goes a long way, as does slightly watered down milk. Milk will help coat it for protection, but if you water it down, it should hurt less.
When drinking, keep fluids luke warm if it's staying in your mouth for long.
Also, if you have some tea bags, get them up near there and let them seep in your mouth for a bit. They'll help with inflammation and sealing the wound. Raspberry flavor words best, due to it's inherent properties, but anything works, so long as you avoid a lot of exposure to lemon tea.
The tea bags work best if they are a bit chilled btw.

lol, I deal with a lot of situations Sep. I should have more advice than that, but frankly, I'm a bit tired and not thinking well. I'll prolly be going to bed soon.
Oh, and Ruiny, I know it hurts a lot already, but if it doesn't clear up after treating it some, you'll need professional medical attention, especially if it worsens. The most important thing to remember is to keep it as clean as possible. Clean it out often, spit a bunch etc.
See, the mouth is a very bacterial place, and an open sore can get infected easily there. So it's okay to even pad it with some gauze as long as your gentle and as long as you keep changing the bandaging should you want to leave it in there.
And don't expect vast improvement, it will take time to heal. You should only be worried if it doesn't seem to improve at all or gets worse. I hope my advice will help, and when I get up from my nap, I'll see if I remember anything else. Good luck!

I never understood why health insurance is so complicated, and why if I pay every pay check do I later get billed again? After doing the math, if I just saw my doctor without this health insurance, all that I've pain "this year" would be more than double what I'd have to pay to see him all the times I did this year. Sure this isn't considering medications. But I am being charged for the visits which just pisses me off. I'll try to call them and figure out what this bill is for, but you can't win against them >_> more and more money I have to spend for no reason....
