Welcome to the haven Quast. The haven is a place of peace, so I don't know about cursed souls and the like. Though, tbh, it's wholly possible. Even I don't know everything about this place. There is still so much to discover. It is a mysterious place, that's for sure.. I've witnessed empty cabins, and lots of strange anomalies.
And it's clear there are nature spirits a' plenty here. The animals seem different here, as if they've never been hunted without cause, and I've already noticed several spots in the haven which appear to have a layered effect, as if time is not the same in that spot.

I am pretty good. Just working on my night time theme. I had it ready a few days ago, but lost my notes, so I've been reassembling them. I think this time, I will post it as soon as it's ready, rather than waiting for a high activity day.
Not sure this post will be as good as the one I had ready, but hopefully it will still be good enough to give people an idea of what the haven is like at night, and will give people a good anchor for their imagination. ^^

So, I'm having a tough time finding the images I had. I'll have to rely mostly on you guys for that I guess. Never any harm in involving others in things like this right? Please post pics that you feel fits the description I give, if you would. ^^
I've also included some music to give it a feel, but it by no means is all inclusive.

[size=15]The haven at night is strange, mysterious, and even somewhat mystical. Soothing, exciting. it's an adventure. As the haven lulls you to sleep, a different scene unfolds.
Sometimes it's just like any forest at night. Crickets, wind through the trees, a starry sky..
But other times, it may make you question where you are.
It can transport you to a world of wonder, where the creatures of the fae dance, greeting travelers. The night sky, so normal one minute, can shift into a kaleidoscope of colors, astral bodies appearing before your eyes, as if sending a message of other worlds across the sky.
Indeed, the haven at night is full of wonder, full of unseen portals to magical locations.
Occasionally it just brings you a soothing night, as if aiding your sleep. However, all throughout the haven, there are pockets of events occurring, and if you stumble on them, these events can be quite a sight to behold.
Yes, that cluster of trees may hide more than it appears to..
As the stars twinkle overhead, there is so much to discover. And as some animals lie down for a night's rest, others stir. Here you find the wise wolves, as they roam the forest, watching and protecting it in a sagely fashion.
Just don't get lost! For the way the haven seems at night, may not be the same when daylight comes once more. You just might realize you went further than you meant to, or may find yourself in another spot of the haven entirely.

I'm glad you like it Shane. ^^ Do you feel it gives you a good impression of night time here, or do you have questions?
Yes, there are wolves. But like many of the animals here in the haven, they are smarter than average, and thus, they carry a measure of intelligence. I have spoke with a few through some sort of telepathy.
I have discovered the wolves here are a noble breed, concerned with honor, balance and survival. They can be a bit standoffish, even private, as they prefer and relate better to their pack structure.
However, this pack is unlike regular wolf packs. It has a sort of tribal set up, with an alpha at the top, and the wolves accept this alpha's rule not because the alpha fought for the role, but because they regard this wolf as their wisest.
As a result, these wolves think!
Rather than simply chewing on someone like some wild dog, these wolves only attack if they feel invaded or threatened, and I have occasionally been able to go to them for answers when something odd is going on in the forest.
