Serious jokes aside, I've been editing a once abandoned wiki and plan to revive it. Not to count that I am also currently a part of translation group, with focus directly related to the wiki I am currently handling.

Eroge. We are planning to translate Shinobi Ryuu for our first project, followed by either Wizard's Climber or Ohzoku. As we are still new, there is no name established to represent our team yet.

• For the former, I will use Softhouse Chara games for example; instead of taking the same route as most hentai companies, they focus at simulation games - ranging from survival to thievery simulation. Not to count that their artist, Sasaki Tamaru, has styles that tickle my fancy in a great non-lewd way.

• For the latter, it's Rance series. Most people believe that Rance is essentially just a 2D Gengis Khan, savoring every girls alive because he is part of eroge. That much is true. However, how many people know who is Ludo Rathowm in Alicesoft universe? Does everyone know why characters in Rance universe, except for Rance himself, have fixed levels? How many people know that Rance's been fighting several notable Dark Lords throughout his adventure in Leazas, Ylapu, Zeth, JAPAN, and etc?
  Those are things you cannot just know without understanding what you are playing.

Hohmmm... Don't think pervy brother ever try any Softhouse games. As for Rance, only ever played Sengoku Rance due to Eng patch. While it was interesting and good, I dislike Rance so much that I don't want to play it again (pervy brother will wants to try more if the others get Eng patches too, though). But most of all, we both trully crave for Eushully games... *sigh*

Yes, we also played Kamidori (thanks to Aura-san who told us about it and gave the links, too). However, our favorite charas were not appear in Kamidori, so still not satisfying. Kamidori did have its merits, of course, but not enough.

That is a rather shallow perception. It's not like nothing happened in the end of true route, right? Surely that must mean something. Rance is that type of guy who would destroy the world to save the girl of his life, Sill, as proven in Kichikuou Rance. And yeah, it's called Rance 01, still untranslated until now. I were referring to the 1990s counterpart.

Oh good assessment. I believe Kamidori was boring overall, with lackluster characters and exhausting game mechanics.

Well, most avid Eushully fans (not us) don't really like Kamidori because of the characters (like you said) and the vanilla theme on it (lol). The gameplay system is not that bad, but like you said, can be very exhausting.

Also, Rance, weird character. Start off thinking "holy shit douchebag" but then eventually like him a lot by the end. Sengoku Rance was a very odd experience for me.

No, he didn't. Rance Quest Magnum, the sequel of Sengoku Rance, didn't even really focus at it. I have yet play Rance IX - Helman Revolution, so I cannot say much about that one.

I suppose it was just me taking my first step with a bad foot. I were under the impression that if Kamidori was among the better things Eushully could offer, then it must means their other products would be slightly better, as bad, or worse.

It's not like I said I didn't eat dinner, it's just that I don't take dinner around 8 PM.

Eushully tend to use different gameplay for their games aside of their main title (Ikusa Megami series), so some of them are might be not as good as others. There are strategy-card game (Soukoku no Artelier) and total war-type strategy game (Madou Koukaku), for example. Sadly, cause only Kamidori which got Eng patch, can't say much about the others...

Which demon lords' slayer are you referring to? And just to nitpick a bit, there are Demon King and Dark Lords in Alicesoft universe, not Demon Lords. Demon King is the most powerful life form of the continent, while Dark Lords are his/her underlings. The calendar system used in the Rance World uses the name of the ruling Demon King to mark the era. Like for example, the current calendar in Rance universe uses "LP", which directly refers to the Little Princess, Kurusu Miki.

Don't they have dedicated translator? How about the ones who translated Kamidori?
