Gives about 12 gold, so less than a minion but takes more to kill it and does way more damage when it focuses you. That and you pretty much are forced out of position to kill them most of the time so you get hit with additional skills if you even think of trying to go out and kill them. So, Heim just passively wins the lane by not doing anything but sitting there. Makes for an incredibly boring lane. Not as boring as something like Malzahar, but still super boring.
