It seems like these radical feminists are coming after nerds. I mean first video games and now scientists. I would not be surprised if they started shitting on manga and anime next.

Only issue with that is they're not fighting for all women in those department's. I like my sexed up female characters quite a bit and it annoy's me when I hear women get pissed off over it. Everyone get's that not all women look that way, but same goes for the male characters and their sock packed jock strap, 12+ pack abs, and bishoujo dashing looks which can sometimes be trap worthy. It's not real life and I enjoy my fictional boob and butt eye candy (or lack of for them loli moe characters). I'll be damned if that is taken away from me >:/

Only time I've ever really gotten annoyed with a female character is when they're a shit fighter in RPG style games and they have a shit storyline. If you're going to make them sexy make them playable as well.

Oh, I hate when awesome characters are so bad in the actual play, it happens a way too often (both sexes), ;_;. Cool designed characters being wasted in no story or silly storyline have a down thumb, too.

I should add femanazis=/=feminist. The two are really different but...

if you've been following the tag as long as I have. You'd know they were attacking anime and manga from the beginning. They think jap games are all sexist towards women and that they're racist against themselves or some shit.

Also doesn't help that a lot of people that were on twitter actually had anime avi's when they corrected their stupidity. So instead of arguing the point. They made fun of their anime avis.

Well... Japan's statistics, polls, laws and policy and pretty much everything are pretty horrible when we talk about gender equality or racism. A lot worst than a third of the third world. Yup, some of its reflected in manga/anime/hentai (and some vidyas companies, not all of them). Luckily most the stuff doesn't focus on that and you can easily ignore it, but Japaneses itself aren't ignoring it (or most the globe).

Yeah, I love manga/anime/hentai. Yeah, attacking avatars is retarded, too, and yeah, trashing about it to those who doesn't care about it is even more retarded. The tags are cancer.

So can you show me the laws and policies that prove your point? You were pretty dishonest with your other post so I'm pretty skeptical of anything you have to say.

I'm not wiling to TL;DR on IB, lack of interest. Serve yourself, tough, there are a way too much specific cases and specifics laws not mentioned there (like right - and do everyday- to fire female workers if they got pregnant, while future fathers can't be fired). All the equality indexes (that's just one of many) sees important issues and a severe lagging with respect of the world with the issue. Or not talking about or the Prime Minister now denies the existance of (uber checked) rape camps on WW2 (and Shinzo Abe is quite popular on Japan exactly for things like that).

There are severed gapped polls answer and other stuff, too, but I'm too lazy to find again the sources. Or cultural stuff like women must not wide open the mouth while eating (while mens can). Aside from more stuff I'm bored to quote, there is more likely a lot more of bad stuff over there if I search more, but I prefer to investigate on countries who are willing to tackle issues like most Third Worlds ones. Let's Japan lags alone, I will still enjoy their stuff, lol.

Note: It's just about Japan. The other first world countries have been fairing really good about the topic. Law wise there aren't flaws. Policy wise maybe a few details, but nothing relevant. Labor wise, it's bad on high-end levels, but healthy on low and mid levels (though there's still place to improvement on specific cases). Sexism wise can be better (like not socially forcing gals to wax or forbidding skirts to mens), but it's ok. Polls and stats wise, there's place to improvement, but things are already improving at good rhythm, so no problem.

I browsed a bit, and I'll look for more on my own.(Laws in particular)

It's a real shame that so many people deny atrocities done during WW2. As for the eating one, seems like a silly self imposed quirk(and at that it's more cultural than gender related). No one is forcing anyone to do anything, men are not prohibited from using one nor are they shamed for it, in fact, their sales show that people liked it.
