We didn't forget. Sent the check, and they[the power company] returned it, for whatever stupid reason. It didn't bounce, we had the money. So either I have to pay 70 to 100-something dollars by tomorrow or no power for a few days until my check comes in either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

You should try a pay station. The one i go to credit it on the same day and if it did bounce the power won't turn off since you paid it on their record.
