My turn to make a stupid thread.

Context is, Emma Frost and some X-Chicks dive into Wolverine's mind. Here's what they find.

What?

Wolverine's snikted a lot of bubs over the years, and many had loved ones that want to see him burn. A group of these revenge-minded individuals, calling themselves "The Red Right Hand", hires Mystique to lead Logan into a trap wherein they perform a ritual that sends his soul to hell. That frees up his body to be possessed by an army of demons, and this supernatural "Hellverine" goes on a murder-death-kill rampage against some of Logan's extended family before setting its sights on Utopia and the X-Men. Meanwhile, Mystique has a change of heart and rescues Logan's girlfriend Melita Garner from a group of assassins sent to kill her. Together they turn to Daimon Hellstrom and the Ghost Riders for a way to return Logan's soul to his body before anything worse happens.

In hell Logan's soul is tortured and confronted with damned friends and foes alike, but his spirit remains unbroken leading to a rebellion involving both fallen and demon. In the chaos and confusion, Logan escapes with some help from his old pal Puck and begins the arduous climb back to his body. Back in the real world, Hellverine attacks the X-Men and nearly kills Colossus before the Ghost Riders show up and drag him away to a church in San Francisco. Cyclops learns that Wolverine has gone rogue for the 94376th time, tells Emma to summon Namor and Magneto and together they follow the Riders; if Wolverine can't be saved, then he must be destroyed.

At the church Hellstrom's ritual allows Logan's soul to return to his body, but the demons inhabiting it aren't letting go without a fight. In the physical world a battle ensues between Hellverine, the Riders and Hellstrom, while inside Logan's noggin the demons attack Logan's soul; Logan falls back to the fortress of his "heart" where he and a host of duplicates representing Wolverine's history make their last stand. When Hellstrom and the Riders fall, Cyclops orders Magneto and Namor to terminate Hellverine; but Hellverine tortures Magneto with memories of the Holocaust and boils the sea around Namor, leaving Cyclops to face Hellverine alone while Emma puts "plan B" into motion.

Cyclops is on the verge of defeat when a team of X-Women come to his rescue. Storm, Rogue, Shadowcat and Jubilee are joining the fight to save Logan from himself, and they're not about to let Cyclops kill him before they've given it their best shot. Their plan is for Storm to airlift Hellverine to a remote island and hold him there, while Emma and the others -- now joined by Melita -- telepathically enter Logan's mind and assist in driving out the demons while putting their own souls at risk. Meanwhile, "plan B" is underway: Fantomex and Dr. Nemesis are flying to the island, armed with custom-made "plague bullets" to tax and overwhelm Hellverine's healing factor with a myriad of diseases, enabling Cyclops to deliver the fatal blow.

Inside Logan's mind, Emma and the girls rescue Logan and his duplicates, but become separated as the fortress begins to crumble around them...

And so they see his innermost thoughts.

Oh that makes sense.
