Don't count on it (not any time soon, at least). Kishimoto killed off Ino and Shikamaru's respective dads in the chapter before. He's either just doing it for temporary shock value, or he's going the path of the Kill-'em-All.

I see this more of a possibility that Kishi's hinting the Naruto x Hinata shipping actually happening, at least the Neiji x Hinata fanbase can shut it for awhile.
