Fags (I'd rather not use the term newfag, since I am barely midfag here) have all the time in the world to lurk. They can lurk for 10 years if they want to, but if they are a shit user, lurking will most likely not change anything at all.

What people need to be IB frequent in my opinion is thick skin and know how to post. I mean, how hard can it be to be a decent user? You can have a shit opinion for all we care, but the most we would do is probably tease the fuck out of it. And that's where thick skin comes in handy.

But hey, I said so because that's what I did, and managed to stay for almost 2 years and counting. There are other methods but mine worked out pretty good for me.

By the way, in his thread, was solid really asking for transition time, or I just misinterpret the meaning?

You're probably right but I don't remember a specific time I was called a newfag most likely because I didn't get butthurt nor did I shitpost openly.

As someone who still considers himself a newfag I don't feel I've ever been treated unfairly. There was a time where I didn't have the same attitude to taking insults as I do now but in hindsight this forum has been pretty good to me.

Ot; The amount of people that just don't get the system, or feel like they should be able to be retarded if they want to is just crazy. Had an argument with somebody in random about what to do before frequenting ib. He had a cry, then waar came in, told him pretty much what I'd been saying. So he sent me a message 'Don't bother responding' as the title, and the text as 'I'm leaving this site, have fun with your circlejerks' I replied back with the title of 'Response'
