Prism was good. Sad what happened to it given the story was nice and it developed nicely.
Don't get your hopes up about Stretch. It's a bit of a slap to the face to the people who liked the Yuri from Prism. Not a bad Manga though.

The thing is he traced from was some well-known photographs of buildings and characters, once his publishing company found out it gave the series and them a bad name. They stopped it as a form of damage control regardless of the accuracy of the allegations. It sucks but that's business. And I'm fairly sure they aren't too common, that's why such an uproar came of it.
The other problem is that it goes against the idea of art: You're expected to create your own art and not steal from someone else, which it effectively was. It's one thing to look at something and go "Oh that looks nice, I'll take inspiration from it" but what he did was take the image, copy it and then alter it slightly to try and get away with it. Which in the eyes of the publishing community, was wrong of him to do, so just being accused of that got them a lot of bad press.

Stretch has had some light GL subtext though. I wouldn't say that it's a slap in the face but I'm still hoping we get some development with Keiko and Ran. I suppose if they don't end up dating then that would be a slap in the face (for yuri fans at least). Just need to wait for more chapters.

I don't even care if he did trace though. Well, unless he literally traced the whole entire thing. Which he didn't. The guy still has plenty of skill and goddammit, he knew how to draw a good yuri manga. I wish I could see the exact images in question though. I think he said that he did use the images as references but didn't trace them.

Yeah I was just talking about it from the Yuri fans point of view, still a good manga and I hope for some development but I'm not overly hopeful since it hasn't been tagged as Yuri by official sources.

I don't care either. I think it was stupid how it got taken down (as it was one of my all-time favourite Yuri manga and it was never definitively proven that he traced) since it wasn't blatant copying like what tracing actually is since he only used them as reference like you said. I was just explaining why it was taken down from the point of view from the publishers. I think I've seen at least one of the images, but I can't remember where. It was like some kind of building in a city on a street corner? Can't remember. Not like it was that prominent of an image that it required the legal action that was taken.
