Proof: Feminists Can't Do Math.

This is scanned from an actual Women's and Gender Studies flyer in my school [the University of Oregon.] When caught staring and laughing at it by an angry feminist student she asked me what was so funny. I told her that their flyer spoke for itself....she stared and failed to understand, telling me later I was dumb because it was a metaphor for "positive change" This made me laugh even harder.

What's so funny about this again?Check the amount paid vs the amount owed. If they were charged $2010 and paid $2008.99 then they wouldn't get change. It's supposed to be a simple snarky joke about positive change, but they didn't even bother to do the math right to make their snarky joke make sense.

So it should be
Paid: $2010 and Cost: $2008.99 to get the change? Thats what you mean right...
Humor thanks to KG and RBZ: priceless...

Basically, though I didn't make the flyer, the university department did.

Ehr. If she said it's a metaphor for positive change, doesn't that make you stupid for not getting it?

Oh why is everyone so serious today. Someone die Rbz?
Edit: Ethil, I didn't understand since their metaphor leads to the opposite outcome than the one it is meant to express. Call me stupid if you like but saying an outstanding bill is positive change isn't accurate. If the numbers were switched it's actually rather brilliant, as it is now it's just confusing.
