same here, though since all of them (save Fever, which is pretty much just 2 anyways) are imports it's annoying having to pay 60-70 dollars plus shipping just for a psp game.
well that and i have a SNES and GBA emulator on mine.
while the Vita looks good it needs to start having some actual games for it. the 3DS has NSMB2, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem, Mario Kart, as well as having some of the ports that the Vita has as well (Metal Gear Solid 3, Street Fighter 4, Blazblue).
though it reminds me that i have a copy of Persona just lying around. i should probably beat that game.
also The Boondocks is one of the most awesome shows ever created.

the only thing the PSP really has going for it is rpg games. frankly i would like my psp more if i lived in japan, because a ton of games (including a large amount of visual novels) are only released in japan.
Get the translated versions. Use homebrew

I fully intend on buying a 3DS XL when i get my next paycheck, my old ass original DS isnt living up to my handheld needs anymore. Fire Emblem being announced finally pushed me over the edge with my hesitancy to buy it. Ill get a Vita eventually as well once some more good titles are out for it, and hopefully the price will drop by then. I never had a psp, so there are plenty of games i missed out on from then.
I would get a new DS only to get the Kingdom Hearts game. My DS (original) has a bad R button and the top screen is halfway off. I only play Metal Slug on there.

I bought Advanced Wars: Days of Ruin the other day and its the first time ive used my DS in about a year. I cant stand the tiny screen. No reason to spend several hundred dollars for a better regular ds when i could spend a bit more for a 3DS. I didnt want to buy a 3DS for just Kingdom Hearts 3D, its seemed like a waste to buy a system for a single game, but now that they have announced an NA localization for Fire Emblem. The next pokemon game will probly be for it too. I think its finally worth purchasing for me.

I thought Ys Seven's english version had no dialogue audio.
BTW Ys Seven is the easiest of the Ys games except for the first Ys 4.
You should also try some of the Ys games before spoiling yourself with Seven.
