I'm flying out tomorrow to Singapore, and I a lot of time in-between my flights to and from Singapore.

With that said, is there anything good sight-seeing areas for a foreigner like me to see while I'm there?

Went there two times when I was really young, so I barely remember details, but I do want to go there again to tour around. The Merlion's definitely a must-see, and I believe there was also this underwater aquarium park or something as well.

Sentosa Island. (forgot to mention. get there by cable car.)
Singapore Zoo.
Jurong Bird Park.
San Marina Bay.

Singapore has been part of many different kingdoms, but the one we know as China has not been one of them.

Siam would be the closest, and the most recent would be Britain.

Made it to Singapore safely (or I at least think so. I have a bad feeling that I fell asleep on the plane and died a horrible plane crash only to find myself in a different dimension...).

I see.. never researched up on singapore so all I knew was that I vaguely remembered something about Qing China getting it's butt kicked by british and handed over singapore to UK.

The area round singapore and south of it and southwest .. i barely know anything over there. Until that area reaches india xD

Singapore was part of the Johor Sultanate before it was handled over to the British Empire. It was part of many empires but not Siam nor China. Malay kingdoms and sultanates in present day Malaysia and Indonesia are much closer to the truth.



It was once part of Malaysia and geographically it is still (unless someone can find a way to tow the island) part of Malaya.
