Racism is a Funny Thing

I had someone call me a "wetback" for the first time in the 6+ years I've lived in Ohio. You see, I just came back from a weeklong trip at the beach not long ago and, shortly after that, I had my hair cut, but the barber fucked up and cut it too short. To add to this, most of my finer clothes are at the laundromat, leaving me with my older, rattier clothes. So, now I basically look like a typical cholo roaming the streets of Southern Ohio.

Racism its funny because it only falls under ignorant people who judge a person by their ethnicity, which pisses me the fuck off!

I had one person message me before a match saying, "get owned beaner..."

I just reply with the orly.jpg I attached in the message and only tagreted him that game...

To be fair, I AM half-Mexican. It's just that my hispanic heritage doesn't really show itself past my hair and barely-darker-toned skin. That said, the guy that said it to me fit the bill for a stereotypical redneck. Because of that, I found the sitation to be more amusing than it was insulting.

Lol, I agree. Hell, I'm having trouble just trying to get an entry-level job at a fucking gas station. A graveyard-shift position, I might add. You would think that the fact that I applied for that job in particular with a completely open schedule, asked for minimum wage, and periodically went back/called to check up on how far the hiring process is at shows just how serious/desperate I am for that position.

As for your family's situation. My mother's side of the family was relatively the same, except they lived in Texas instead.

lol, this thread is funny, but to be honest almost 2 months ago i lose my job at a senior care because some guy say "I Hope I Don't Loose My Job For This Fucking Mexican" and my boss laid me off to evade trouble for himself, The Funny Thing I'm not even a Mexican and they think i didn't know about what that guy said, but things are going smoothly with my other 2 jobs so i didn't give a fuck losing that job anyways.
