Am I the only one here who DOESN'T read netorare to be angry at the offender? In other words, I don't read netorare for the "ragesterbating" like some others might.

I think the opinions your looking for are a relative minority for this board. A lot of the members here do not like NTR. And by do not like I mean they hate it with no exception, and get up in arms about it all the time. I don't like NTR because it sometimes strikes a little too close to home. It's too bad because a lot of the artists who draw NTR are really really good. I like to joke that if I could just look at the raws, I could fap with no problems, because I wouldn't be able to understand a word!

Just had a discussion about my tastes with someone again and this kind of came up, but isn't it funny I can without question say I'd take rape over NTR in my hentai? There are a lot of vanillies on FAKKU (myself included), but I'd say there's a large enough population that do enjoy NTR here too (most noticeable during that period of relentless NTR/rape mangas that caused flaming everywhere). I used to passionately hate NTR, still do, but then I too realized all the great and fantastic artists were usually NTR ones (the irony), so I just read through NTRs for the sex scenes and tried to not read the story at all. It's come to the point where I can just go through NTR and not rage at all, while still enjoying the perverted goodness.

OT: Seemingly innocent and pure girls turning into cock-sluts is an old hand and stupid when you think about it, so I guess I don't read NTR for that.

Ideally, netorare would cater to humiliation fetishists (such as yours truly), aspiring cuckolds, infidelity lovers, and so forth, but a lot of it seems to be tailored in such a way as to just inspire a rage-induced adrenaline rush. Once and a while, you do find those rare gems - those diamonds in the rough - that are quite suitable to that audience. From the outset, I thought that was NTR's intent. I guess not. :/
