Joking, although that will still make for a big gif size-wise. You could take a series of stills and compile them in Photoshop, or pirate some software which will convert a short video clip, as I've done both before. Requires a lot of messing about with frame rates, conversion settings etc though.
Edit: shit, I just realised that my favouritist converter in the world has this covered, along with just about everything else. Just download, install and click through the options. I'm sure someone will back me up on this.
