Risk! (The Game) Listing Weapons and Prices Currently

So I was watching a ton of WWII documentaries and I thought to myself what is more fun than playing Risk with a large group of people? You know what the answer is, nothing! I loved playing with my friends and now I wanna play with you.

Each person will get to choose a country of origin and be the leader (large countries like the USA, China, Russia can have a president/ruler but it must also have at least 5 other people). Also if you wish to join up with someone it is allowed.

Now in order to fund this battle I was going to go with (amount of money at time of war). But instead I have decided to use post counts (1 post equals= 100 million dollars). You must look up the price to build a tank in the 1940's along with munitions and other things like boots (very important actually).

Now I know that doesn't seem like a lot of money during a time of war (and it's not). Which is why I am also going to say sell bonds. (Make a thread asking for help) each person who pledges equals another 50 million towards your army!

Rules to Attack:
Rule 1) You may attack any country adjacent to yours, know that even if you have a larger army it doesn't mean you will win, you must take in account the damage of each defensive weapon they have (stats to come). You may take 3 action per turn.

If you attack a country and defeat it with 1 turn, you can go to a country adjacent to it and attack it, and so on. (remember 3 turns).

Actions Include: Attacking, Purchasing Soldiers,Equipment, or Machinery,or Upgrading Army, or Creating Treaties.

Rule 2) You must always have at least an army size of at least 1/3 of your max army on your country at all times!

Rule 3) You may make a alliance with which ever country you like unless you are already allies with someone else attacking that country. Or you can choose to switch allies.

Rule 4) Allies may freely move through each others country. But if you break up the alliance you must either take out all your troops immediately or attack with half power. So if you were to attack dealing normally 100 damage instead you do 50 damage.

Used to play Risk on here. I'd be down for more if enough people want to play.

This sounds fun. I love tactical and strategy games like Risk. I play it all of the time on my phone. You should also change Russia to Soviet Union if we are playing during WWII.

I suppose for the first "game" I'll join in with the U.S.A. until I get the rules for this thread.

Since I am already President of the USA would what branch of military do you wish to chose? Army, Airforce, Coast Guard, Navy, or Marine Corps.

Hmmm...I guess I'll go with the Marine Corps.

On that note, what do you define as a "large" country? Sq. Kilometers, population, or technology?

Depending on the answer, will depend on which country I will choose.

And what are we counting as "post counts"? The number on our posts (like mine would be 1442)? Or our total number of posts (mine would be 11536)?

Also I am still trying to figure out a system of buying and creating weapons.

Well I am going to go with all the above, for the "large" especially population.

edit: forgot to answer the question about post count, and no I don't mean IB posts. I will allow IB posts to count to soldiers for every 10 posts in IB it is 1 more soldier.

Okay, cuz Russia has about half the population of America, on par with American technology, and is the largest country in the world. (referring to WWII technology standards)

Also, if you're going into that much detail for the amount of weapons, perhaps you should place weapons of each nation into a separate spoiler.

I am also trying to color coordinate them as well.

What about tanks, ships, and air crafts?

I actually just got bored, I will write more stuff up.

So I'm guessing this did not peak enough interest for people. How boring. . .
