i just realized that i was scheduled for work today, but i slept in till 2 because i caught a cough, ive never missed a day yet what if i get fired, should i start looking for a new job?

Did you ever, you know, think to call into work. Or even head in and explain the situation to them?

Most of the time if you just call and explain the situations bosses will be pretty lenient about it as long as you don't have a negative work history.

But if you pull a complete no call no show then it usually get reflected pretty badly.
