they still have shoe lockers, why not use them to leave notes in?
the same could be said of American school lockers, or mailboxes, or frankly any box known to belong to someone.

I'm having, like, 10 love letters in my shoe locker. Daily.
Now just to figure out, where the fuck it might be located.

High schools have lockers too no?
Kinda the same thing. Never heard of anyone slip a love confession into one though. I've heard a lot of different things get slipped into lockers, but not any love confessions. Usually just drawings of penises.

It's actually fairly common in Japan for girls/guys to slip love letters in shoe lockers. I have family (1/4th Jap) over in Tokyo, my cousin got quite a few when he was in high school apparently. And yet I'm the one stuck in shoe locker-less Oregon. Fuck. Btw, they're really fucking small.
Side note: The yakuza (When they're yakuza, you can tell) in pachinko parlors are really nice. Some enforcer or something standing outside gave me 500 yen so i could get some McDonalds. I was ten. That was awesome. Thank you random fingerless gangster. I don't know why i brought that up, i've been drinking so that's probably why.
