He does go limp when I pick him up, but after about 2mins he will start struggling and making his GTFO noises. He's also surprisingly combative and talkative for a ragdoll. I suppose the owners gave him up because he wasn't showing typical breed behavior, which is stupid, since he's a great cat anyway, all things considered.
