[font=verdana][color=green]Lol, Sailor Moon and Pokemon don't count as anime - in terms of weeaboo's sake, anyway.
Hmmm...you now have me curious, Mr. Ravster. Care to explain?
[font=verdana][color=green]Anime like Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Bleach, DragonballZ, Naruto, One Piece, Yugioh...you know which ones I mean...just don't result in people being labelled weeaboos by watching them. They are simply too Westernised and recognised by people outside the usual anime sphere that a lot of people know them. In these sorts of anime, you don't really embrace (read "obsess over") Japanese culture and the like. I could watch Bleach, Naruto and DragonballZ all day and not be recognised as a weeaboo.
Then again, being a weeaboo is not only about what anime you watch, it is also how much you watch and how you interact with said anime in your general life. This, again, is a subjective formula, as you might get people who watch only a small selection of anime, but obsess over the cultural side of things and people who watch every anime released as it's release and be only aware of certain Japanese traditions and culture. It's one of those "I don't know why, but I know this person is a weeaboo" situations. If they label themselves an otaku, they're already in too deep, but otaku is their positive spin on it (due to Japanese people labelling the Japanese counterparts as such - it makes them feel even closer to Japan) so labelling them weeaboo is just a way to piss them off. As they are weeaboo.
Personally, I watch anime for the story and nothing else, so I don't really care for the traditions and cultural references and such. I also don't make it my life's priority; it's a thing that I like to watch instead of other things, but I won't lose sight of my real life due to it. I'm an anime fan, that's all.
