I had a spelling pre-test and my teacher gave us 'theater'. I was all like okay t-h-e-a-t-r-e. We switched papers with classmates for grading and I got the word wrong. I WAS FURIOUS. I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN THAT WORD RIGHT. Teacher's all like LOL AMERICA.

I was a fuckin' genius compared to my classmates. I was in a Speech and Language class up until year 6, where I was (finally) allowed back into a mainstream class. Everyone in the Speech and Language departments all had some sort of learning difficulty. In my case, I went in there for being a late bloomer in Speech and I stayed in there for alot longer than I should've.
Only "difficult" word I ever got wrong was environment. Guess which letter I missed out?

You spelt it enviroment because the strong -ir covers the n sound if pronounced correctly and slang sometimes deviates to en-vi-ro
