Something interesting happened today.

So today I had to go to student orientation for the university I'm planning on going to. I took the bus and halfway through the ride this mother four kids steps on the bus. I'm just minding my own business listening to music when she comes straight at me and starts bitching at me. I'm like what lady? She's all like you should get up off your seat and let me have it, I start laughing and say no. She then proceeds to cause a scene and me not giving a fuck just go back to listening to my music. There are plenty of seats in the back lady. Then she proceeds to say that chivalry is dead and I'm thinking to myself yeah... demanding a seat from a dude who's minding his own business is really going to get you a seat. Fucking people and their egotistical bullshit thinking that the world revolves around them.

Lady got all up in his business because he didn't immediately offer her his seat even though there were open seats.
Lazy-ass.

You were in the right in this situation. Fuck that bitch, I feel sorry if her kids grow up and act like her.
An odd thing happened to me as well. I was out of town hanging with some friends I went to high school with and we went to a a bar and grill. As we were waiting for our food a bird flew in and tried to get back out only crashing into the window. I lol'd a little and then said "Get out of here bird!" A chef came by and opened the door and shewed it out. Fucking birds; buildings are for people not stupid fowl with no comprehension of human architecture.

Personally? I'd have told her to fuck off.
It's not anyone's responsibility to save someone else the 5 seconds it takes to walk a few more feet for an open seat.
I might give up my seat for a gnarled, shuffling old man or lady but most certainly not a psychotic bitch with brats.

You know me and what I would have done.

Meh...you were right since she was demanding rather than asking. However, I was raised to respect my elders even if they are complete ass holes so I would have let her have my seat.

It all really depends. If the seat was a priority seat and the women had a stroller than yes, I'd move but if it was a case of her just wanting to sit where ever because she wanted to sit in a specific spot then no fuck her. If the bus was crowded and there were no seats and she had no place to sit with her kids I'd have given my seat up for the kids not her; she can stand.

I suppose different circumstances would yield different results from me.

Tell her to be glad chivalry is dead, because it would mean pitying her for the mere fact she was a female and thereby incapable of fending for herself.
Kindly then point her to some available seating.

Won't you be seen as a pushover if you did give up your seat to someone demanding without manners? This goes for Art, too. I don't know why she wanted the seat GD had when there were empty ones. There's no chivalry for the demanding.

Take into account that the lady had four kids and Psy's age. Makes for a reasonable assumption.

Just to clarify, she looked like she was in her late 20s, I was sitting in the front where it was packed, but in the back no one was there. Personally I like sitting in front, keeps me aware of where I am at all times, even if it is crowded in the front.
Side note as well, she was hot and not to stereotype or anything (but I will anyway), she seemed like the person who always got what she wanted. But of course lessons in respect come in odd places.

Well aware of her plausible age and the children. That doesn't exempt her from being respectful.

As for respecting elders that isn't something I really follow. I generally respect people for who they are. If they are going to be complete assholes when I've been nothing but nice I'll throw there attitude right back in there face regardless of age. Respect is earned not given due to old age. I respect my parents not because they are older than me and raised me but because they've been there for me and let me be myself and in return I showed them respect and helped out when needed.
