Spice and Wolf II Eps 3...Possible doujin line reference??

OK...OK. I didn't know where to exactly post this since it's not really a discussion about said episode.

Spoiler:
(These assumptions are based on the subtitles I've read in accordance with the scenario) The beginning of eps 3 seems to have Lawrence and that new kid (who likes Horo) shows a contract to him saying he'd pay off her debt to free her, thus probably claiming her afterwards

Anyway towards the end, the letter that Lawrence had on him from before was given to Horo in the hotel. When he gets back, it's discovered that she read all of it and the fate of her home, or so it seems. She then gets somewhat deppresed about being alone now.


Pardon if you're still lost, I'm trying to get to my point.

So what's my point? Well, in a Spice of wolf doujin that's most likely here (too lazy to link) called 'Wolf and Werewolf', this said line put me in shock as I never expected it to be said in the show.

I don't know what my true point is after that with this, but reading the doujin back then, it was kinda cute. Hearing it said almost exactly in the show was shocking.
