Circle Name: Studio Kimigabuchi
Artist Pen Name: Entokkun (previous) Kimimaru (current)
Website: http://kimigabuchi.com
Description:
More than 11 years old as of 2007, Kimigabuchi is a prolific doujinshi circle with a large fan base among both Japanese and non-Japanese nerds.
Famous primarily for its often very dark and twisted storylines, often including characters being raped, killed, committing suicide, or other fan-horrifying acts.
Through its storylines, the circle has destroyed many popular anime and manga franchises, including Evangelion, Sakura Taisen, Magic Knight Rayearth, Yakitate! Japan, Keroro Gunsou/Sergeant Frog, Gunbuster, Nadia, Love Hina, Negima, Dragon Quest, Azumanga Daioh, Code Geass and Genshiken/Kujibiki Unbalance.
Fans often remark that the writing and plots are "too painful/fucked-up to fap to."
Upon examination of its release history, only a fraction of its many works since 1996 has actually turned up in the channels frequented by English-speaking otaku.
Kimigabuchi's most famous work among English-speaking fans is "RE-TAKE", a time-travel story featuring Neon Genesis Evangelion's Shinji traveling back to a turning point in the series' plot to right some wrongs, be a man about things, and screw the brains out of Asuka.
Content Spectrum:
Kimigabuchi doesn't shy away from shocking the reader, and many of its darker releases border on guro (such as raping an amputee). All the while, though, in terms of graphic content, the circle skirts the borders, never appealing solely to fetishes (except rape, futanari, and the occasional lolicon), instead letting the STORIES drive home the fact that the reader SHOULD be feeling guilty and dirty for pawing at himself while reading these things.

Studio Kimigabuchi is a really awesome circle. I have only put time into looking through all of the RE-TAKE series and the amount of depth and the quality of the artwork astounds me. I WISH we could get these titles translated into English. If I find anyone who can speak Japanese it is going to be the first thing I have them do. :D

All of RE-TAKE (including 0 and the "After" epilogue) has been translated into English by a user (or users) on 4chan. It might have been "Random Translator" but the copies I have don't have credits (4chan is anonymous :P ). A search for "Kimigabuchi" on Rapidsearch should turn them up, though I'm not sure if the live links are the English or raw ones.
Also, Doujin-World translated "Negimaru" 1-4 into English. D-W'd get huffy if their stuff appeared outside their paysite or IRC, so I won't link it*coughRAPIDSEARCHcough* here.
Other known translations include "Higurashi no Naku You Ni" (by D-W?) and "Azumanga Drifting Classroom," which was the first Kimigabuchi I downloaded, and kind of a traumatic first experience in its writing tendencies.

Wow, i just read their re-take doujins was blown away by the quality of that whole series. These guys surprise me again and again with the plot of their doujins. I was wondering how hard it is to find these doujins on the market? (I just came back from Anime Boston then read re-take so I feel kinda stupid for not raeding the series sooner) I would absolutely love to add these re-take doujins to my collection, and if anyone has any suggestions, I would be all ears!

I would imagine it is impossible to find them in English in hard copy form. The translations were done by a group over the internet.
You can find them in Japanese here:

I agree though, amazing series! And I would love to own it in English :D

very cool! :D
Yea if only we could obtain this sweet series in English, but I'll settle with any way to get em since i enjoyed the story so much! Now I noticed that they don't seem to have re-take 3, 4 and after on sale there, any ideas where I could get those? (must complete the set =P)

I'm actually surprised that it was that good. And I believe that there's more than enough story there for any Eva fan, regardless of gender, to read it.
It's just too bad that the new Eva movies are probably going to be depressing.

I agree we need to find translator to translate. I think we should translate code geass first because it is popular.

Kimigabuchi's works are... while very nice, a bit too heavy for me (in both the ecchi and the gore). Nonetheless, I do recommend everyone to read the RE-TAKE series (they've put in so much work in here... they even had a SoundTrack released along with it (too bad you can't find it off the internet :()
