I'm not asking you to get Anj. But try to take some ideas of how he plays and advices I suppose.

The debuffs are super annoying, whenever I get my followers on my field, they immidiately get debuffes and my buffs afterwards are super useless.

Someone suggested that you use Vacation spell card (reducing Sta of follower with highest Sta into half, add half of the reduction to Def), to avoid Misfit-Forced Confinement-Final Answer. Sadly, you'll need to make sure that you have other followers to make sure Linia Taste doesn't eat that high-def follower. Adding removal cards are also crucial...

It's a fun experience. People uses actual strategy and there's lots to learn from each battles. Oh and you get accessories like you do in Fight. And you can face a certain player only once.
