I need a opinion from a person which lives in chicago![align=justify][color=green][font=verdana]The best person to ask would be Matt - he moved there from elsewhere.
true true...but i've visited chicago as a tourist D: to visit family
[align=justify][color=green][font=verdana]In that case... you're the best person to ask - being a tourist 'n' all.
but then calus and circe would know more about the area
[align=justify][color=green][font=verdana]True, but when you live in an area, you don't think about things you can do in the area, as you live there. For them - especially Circe - it wouldn't be remarkable or noteworthy, just Chicago.

Eh? Yes, I'm from Chicago. Right now I live about an hour outside of the city in a suburb.
It's true. I was just watching a video of a fair we have here every summer and tourists saying how they've never seen anything like it and I'm thinking, um...what's the big deal? Lol. Oh, and people riding that glass floor place in the Sears Tower. They were so exicted, lol.
But it's a great city. I think of New York as like the posh, snobby place with fashion and old money. And I think of Los Angeles as the more relaxed, plastic, Hollywood place with new money.
Chicago is in the midwest, so we're like...down-to-earth, cool, artsy people, but still trendy. Like, we can be snobs and at the same time ride a tractor, lol.

I would like to see that .n. I plan on flying to america for my next summer holiday with some of my friends, but I dunno chicago sounds awesome to me, but there are other good places in america too~ So I am quite undecided about that~

I would say for your first visit to America, go to LA or New York instead. Chicago is lovely, but those two are the top two cities and you would probably have the most fun there.
Or Miami, Florida if you like to party.

It will be my second, I was in new york and I didn´t like it that much~ It has it´s good sides, but dunno I didn´t like how the town looked like, some parts were very dirty some were clean. I didn´t feel good there, the shopping was the only good thing kinda...lol

Isn't that most cities? There will be nice upscale parts and there will be danky, not well kept parts. Rich and poor?
LA, Miami, and Chicago will have the same aspects.

[align=justify][color=green][font=verdana]But Chicago does have the largest Polish community. LA and NY have shit on that.

It´s maybe because we don´t have those rough differences, like we aren´t used to it~
So LA, miami or chicago hmmm need to google and such then~

@Sam That's true...and now Chef John made pierogies and I want some so bad x |
@Kirsikka I find it really hard to believe that there are no poor, unkempt parts in Germany cities at all.

[align=justify][color=green][font=verdana]Ooo, speaking of Chef John, I'm going to try those lemon and rosemary lamb chops tomorrow.
It's their diligence - like a train schedule that never goes wrong.

@Melfy I have no idea what that is, but apparently a lot of Turkish people are there. Ty Wikipedia.
@Kirsikka I haven't been to California, but you can ask Nekohime as a resident or Calabazal as a tourist. But my thoughts of the city are fun for shopping, being at the beach, maybe nightlife. And koko lives in Florida, she might know about Miami. Where do your friends want to go?
@Samnii And then you're sending me some through the computer screen? ;-; My tummy has been so upset from everything lately, I probably shouldn't have anything like that anyway v-v
