So it is Itachi, it sure doesn't look like it. At last not when he's so small.

Sorry, just heard it again for only the song. I'll get back to you later. In the Music thread rating a song.
Also, like I suspected: UNS2 and the Shippuden anime have different composers.

DONE! I was actually just waiting for you to post, since it's not my thread, and therefore I can't double post. Time to put these music analyzing skills to the test!
OK, where to start. One thing that stood out to me from the start were the vocal harmonies. The shifting scales made it a little difficult to keep up with it, but it was still noticeable. It was interesting how the vocal harmonies started out in monophony (single voice and melody), to homophony (multiple voices singing in simple harmony), but then suddenly burst into polyphony, each voice doing its own thing, but still keeping the steady flow of the song. Instrumentation was pretty solid and tight. Really loved the flute and...what instrument is playing that broken chord after the chorus? Harp, or something similar? Either way, that and the complex vocals really impressed me on a technical standpoint.
Now, the lyrics, meaning and aspect...oh wow. Even more speechless than when I first heard it! This song, hell I don't know if that word is enough for this, is oozing...no...BURSTING OUT love and other feelings! You can feel the passion coming from the narrator (the one who's meant to sing it). The chorus is what seals the deal for me. The combination of music and lyrics sends a shivering chill down my entire body, not just spine, and only songs that really get to me can do that. I also love how the first and second chorus balance each other out with referencing the sun, then the moon, and combining them into a glimmering hope in the finale.
Overall...what else can I say? I hope you don't mind me not using the word "perfection" for it, but I don't really use that word for anything (don't really believe anything in this world as absolutely perfect, but that's just me). However, there are many other words I can use for it, and I can probably start off with "masterpiece", then "epic", "outstanding", "incredible", "beautiful"...yeah, I'll stop before this post gets too long. :P
This pic may not fit since he was a metal guitarist, but I feel it appropriate, not only because I love his work, but also his pose is just asking for it.

When I first started playing Ar tonelico 2 (I started the series with Ar tonelico 2, NOT 1) I didn't like it. I thought the art was odd. But I played anyway...
The game never impressed me much at first. It was just another RPG with some quirks here and there. I played it simply because I had nothing else to do.
Then I was introduced to Luca. "Cute girl." That was all I thought. I liked her deredere personality. Cloche didn't impress me as much. So I played on...
And I arrived at a point where I utterly hated Luca. I was angry at her. So much. I couldn't accept how 'evil' she was.
Then I came to the point where I had to choose between Cloche and Luca. I hated one. I never cared about the other. I chose Luca only because I wanna see if she would receive retribution.
Phase 2, the Infelsphere. I learned a lot about Luca. As the journey went on... my hate slowly faded. As I saw more of her, I understood her more. Although I still couldn't approve of what she did, little by little I 'understand' her.
The journey went further. I saw more of this person called Luca Truelywaath. Hibernation, IPD Therapy, Implanta... all the things that made me feel she's really... beautiful.
Phase 5. Luca was about to sing Viena. When I first listened to it... it was as if my whole world crumbled and was restructured. I didn't know why. It's safe to say that was my first encounter with hymmnos. Mind you, I didn't even know that hymmnos is a proper language back then. The previous songs didn't impress me much. But Viena was different. I understood nothing about it, but it shook me to the very core. I did not know why I felt that way, but I was sure I felt a link. Heart to song. Feelings to feelings.
I proceeded to finish the game, leaving a faint trace of sweet memories of a game that made me feel such awe. Then I left Ar Ciel for a while...
Until, one day, the coincidence happened. I found the lyrics of the song. What I thought as mere gibberish to fill up an awesome music turned out to be very deep and meaningful. I listened to the song again while reading the lyrics. It all came into place back then. The memories of the game, the events that led to the song, their significance, why Viena is the way it is; a little different from the original story behind it, how Luca shaped the song, the message in the song, the feelings Luca must have felt while singing it...
I imagined myself as Croix watching Luca sing EXEC_VIENA/. atop the Conductor Activator... and I blushed a little. She must've looked so very beautiful...
I started studying the language of feelings.
Let the song itself do the talking.
