Tried my hand at translating, was fun to learn on the job. But hated getting stuck due to inexperience and references that some comics make to others.I know what you mean... The kanji is a killer too. (._.);
Hand-written text is a bitch too. Thank god for kanji dictionaries though.
But still, I hate coming up to many kanji in a row and trying to make any sense of it. So much RAGE!!
OMG YES! My first assignment is hand-written. ; ; Shoot me. Any good Kanji Dictionary(s) you can refer me to? <('_')>
"A Guide to Reading & Writing Japanese" published by Tuttle Language Library is the one I use. Has a good list of Kanji and you can look Kanji up by stroke count and also sound. Also when coupled with "Kenkyusha's New Collegiate Japanese-English Dictionary" they make a deadly combination.

I'll keep those in mind, and pick one or both up next chance I get. Thanks.

Ah!
If your a beginner you should try and grab a dictionaries which can go back and forward between Japanese and English. Oxford does a good beginner dictionary which I still use today. Handy little bugger~
EDIT:
@Noel
That's a given for every language to language translation.

Do you know the exact name (so I can look it up)?"Oxford Beginner's Japanese Dictionary" published by Oxford(HURR). That's the one I use but I recently caught my eye on a more advanced one also published by Oxford.

That's why one should master a language before translating. XDTrue. But hey, like I said before, learning on the job is fun and fulfilling. :P

I'll check it out. Might also be helpful.
Noel: It's a work in progress. D:

I know what you mean. I learn a lot as I go on with editing. So much I never knew I could do with Photoshop.

Try making a game. Shit's just as hard as learning Japanese as you translate. Now try doing both at the same time. D:

My point exactly, it's a great thing too learning from the mistakes you make which overall, contribute to a greater final result.
EDIT:
@Alex~kun
Is that what your up to?
EDIT EDIT:
Is it just me or are we getting bugged pages for every new page we make?

Work full time, making a game, I go to school, and I help Noel (as slow as it is) translate doujins. I have no life.
