My bestfriend suddenly said to me in a weird, cursing voice one day "The first thing you will see before you die will be a beautiful Valkyrie slowy coming down from the heavens in a slow turning motion. Her face Hidden beneath her gorgeous hair, she will land beside you, facing away from your body.The Valkyrie will suddenly turn around to face you."He said." and you will die from Disgust and Disbelief as you notice that the Valkyrie that has come to take you to Heaven..."

It's impossible to know before or during. You could die in your sleep & see nothing. You could slowly bleed out from some accident & be thinking of all the stuff you regret having done not done. You could be falling to your death, or burning or drowning. There is an endless amount of ways to die & each one would probably cause a different reaction as to how your last seconds of life go.
Everyone could wish they would be in a hospital bed with family & friends around watching you pass. So you feel ultimate love during your last minutes of life, but life aint a Disney movie !
