technically, those are the things I use. I'd suggest you tinker with the blend and adjustments. Also, before doing adjustments, do this step: Image > Apply Image

but yea, it's up to you on how you'll do your adjustments.

Also, if you plan on making very good signatures, you'll need to download C4D packs, stock images, and some new brush and fonts.

If you want to challenge yourself, use the brush tool and smudge tool.
