Have you ever noticed the featured Bananas in JDramas? Since Bananas are Japan's most favorite fruit, I think that a good quality and true to life JDrama requires at least one featured Banana appearance .
So you ask me, what is "the search for Bananas"?
My goal in "the search for Bananas," is to prove that Bananas are not just some random fruit, they are in fact Japan's most favorite fruit and play a very important role in the dynamics of a JDrama. When something is your favorite, for example, if you like the color pink, you will consciously and unconsciously select things and surround yourself with the color pink. Bananas are so importantly ingrained into Japanese culture, that drama set designers, directors, producers, writers, and actors consciously and unconsciously select and surround themselves with Bananas. Watch "Kiken na Aneki" and you will see featured Bananas in every episode. So you say, "they are just random props,"
