Well, you had it coming. Translating someone's work without permission AND taking money from it is morally ambiguous at least, no matter how much work went into the translation. I have the highest respect for people who translate as a hobby, because of love for hentai, but no so much for people who take advantage of the artist's work and use it for monetary gains.

It's fine for us to read tons of unauthorized translated chapters, but no way if the translator earns a buck for his hard work? You'd rather commissions remain private and are never shared?

As far as I know, TLLP has never asked money to see their scanlations unlike a lot of other, less productive and less qualitative groups do. I've only seen them asking for donations to help out. They didn't profit from this, they only tried their hardest to let us enjoy great hentai manga and doujinshi we'd never have known about otherwise. Do yourself a favour and do some research before you go accusing people.

There is no INTERNATIONAL DMCA the japanese filers HAVE NO CLAIM unless its there companies or license holders in the US. and if there was (I can only assume you are US BASED) that we would never sign it. you could Easily take this to court and cite Abuse of Takedown notice VIOLATING A Creative Commons (CC) license is one of several public copyright licenses that enable the free distribution of an otherwise copyrighted work and your FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT.
