I stopped watching after the Grimmjow fight and didn't go back to watching until the Karakura Melee arc.

That =/ seems to beg to differ.

Yea,... that fight was nice, also I really didnt pay too much attention to that arc.

Still pisses me off that they killed Grimmjow off while he was off camera...that's some bullshit.

I don't really follow the anime until they get to the big memorable fights, then I just go back to the manga.

After Ichigo saves him from Nnoitra they just let him die off camera, it's bullshit. Never even knew it happened until recently. Apparently Kubo stated in an interview that Grimmjow "was meant to die earlier on, the only reason he stayed alive so long was because of how popular he had become" he never specifically said "Grimmjow is dead" but nothing he said supported him living.
