I wish i could replay it..but yeah i think canal, sewers and that kinda stuff shouldnt be in a final fantasy..totally misfitting IMO

@chels, go on quests. there was this one quest where you needed to be in the sky for this one wyvern dealie
also, pirates don't hunt
they explore
and steal eachother's treasure, or something

just like on a boat they'll explore all the world's oceans, sky pirates do the same in the sky
usually pirates on a boat don't go under the water

I do like the option that you can tame monsters in XIII-2 that will fight as your party member ( but god it toook me forever to tame a Behemoth >.<; )

Nope no. Sky are skies, tho there are wyverns, birds, or stuffs and other ships, that's pretty much it... No islands... Besides humans aren't birds, they are not made to live in the sky.

then you haven't played the game further, and perhaps you haven't played any previous ff games
there are floating islands, and i think man-made ones too
