Just a pirate outfit without actually in the actual middle-aged pirate era..... What's the point.....

Well, the series isn't really done yet... In the first arc, their pirate job is mostly a screen play... Till the last 2 episodes in the series where it all gets really good... Then the light novel is still on going so we can't really tell what will happen... Afaik, the MC may end up as a real galactic pirate.

Galactic pirate...? A pirate world without the sea and sea monsters.... I never seen anything like that before tho... What's interesting to see in an empty dark space..?

What happened is humanity discovered new planets and decided to make it as their new home... The result was, those new planets became the equivalent of a country... Overtime, those planets decided to seek independence from the governing planet, and to help them, they decided to hire pirates... But that was long ago.. As the story goes, the MC inherits the role of her father, who is the captain of a pirate space ship. Since the war is long over, their job is mostly in scripted hijacking, looting, sometimes they just deliver cargo.
