well. I played the original (which sometimes read like a bad fanfic) but it still was awesome beyond belief!

Yeah, I believe it's one of their earlier works. There was a screenshot of a magazine talking about a remake in the Tsukihime thread in the VN section. Tsukihime was my first VN too, and it got me hooked on reading them.
