I need to do past missions on higher difficulties to earn more stars and progress.
The AI is really tricky on anything above medium difficulty. It's not exactly easy just on medium either.
Then the time limits on the other missions are even lower...
You do get tank destroying ones that are quite fun btw.

I'm not normally, it's just the vehicle transformations that made me try it. Plus the tracks alter so all 3 laps are never the same.
