That's actually what I thought it'd be like, since I've not seen anyone around here talk about it I guessed it can't have been that exciting.

I'm kinda doing the same thing especially with Ecchies and comedies. I'm just coming into most anime with the "Switch my Brain off" mentality.
I didn't read the manga of Occult Academy so I can't say anything about your opinion.
From my list, I'm expecting Upotte to be the biggest disappointment for me but I'm very easily entertained so the show could prove me wrong.

Toradora has one of my favourite OPs btw.

Well the Occult Academy manga is quite minimal I feel. I'm expecting the anime to be much better.

A couple of friends of mine try their best to hype it hype up and seem to love it but i really don't understand it. They don't even like tanks that much lol...

If i were you, i'd give it a try through the first 3-5 episode and if it isn't your cup of tea, best to drop it.

I'll still peer into it a bit, though now I won't feel bad if I drop it so quickly.

I have heard about its opening but I haven't really seen it myself.
