How do you know if someone is online unless they are posting here and there?

You hide your status for no reason. I dunno why some people do that because all it does is make you wonder if that person is still chatting or not.

actually I had a reason...,I turned it off for a joke purpose and too lazy to turn it on till now~ >_>

also I usually posted while playing games/reading mangas/watching something,one of the reason why I left it off,I don't want people to expect me replied all the time,tho I do my best to multitasking it~ especially when on a game~

Eh... I don't count laziness as an exzcuse. It's like 2 clicks to turn it back on.
Also so what if you're doing other things. No one really cares if you don't reply quickly, just state that you're busy.

I'm just too lazy to turn it off and I always try my best to reply to everyone regardless. I don't really ignore people or leave them hanging. So I don't see it much as problem myself.

pffft these are all silly reasons, if you're stalked then tell the person to fuck off like I did with Looky.
If you're busy then don't come to Fakku or just tell people you're busy and they'll get the message.
If you hide your online status constantly the rest of us feel like we're wasting our time talking to you.
