what quest are you on right now?
if you're doing the rath brachi white lagia arena then it's better to do some port quests first.
and if you got the right elemented weapons,you'll have no problem with it.
even though i usually a GS player but for adapting to the enemies and fields,i tend to switch to lance/Gunlance for underwater fights.
I'll be doing the Mark of a Hero quest later, once I clear most of Port HR... I'm like, at the 1st Port HR atm since I went ahead to finish Village HR first, and get some gear.
