Haha, asking siblings for help is pretty much a no no for me.
It'll be too awkward and dumb, you'll only know this if you have a sibling yourself

But he's still a family, so the bond is still there so yeah, I wouldn't go as far as to "hate" him.

In general, yeah, parents-child bond is pretty strong, unless the parents are outright abusive.

But I almost never seen siblings get along with each other. I know, I lived to some a long time ago. Twin girls can also be magnificently nasty to each other.

But it largely depends on environment. Siblings that generally grew up in bad conditions can be pretty close.
